We understand Land Councils, industry bodies and Aboriginal organisations may require some assistance, in order to provide professional services for staff, Traditional Owners and members. The Aboriginal Carbon Foundation has a Memorandum of Understanding with Agforce Queensland and are working with non-Aboriginal carbon farmers, to enable their social and environmental outcomes to be acknowledged in the voluntary carbon market.
The voluntary market achieves prices well above the Emissions Reduction Fund auction price of $12 per ton (average) and offers a higher degree of contractual flexibility that benefits carbon farmers and corporate investors.
