The Aboriginal Carbon Foundation supports carbon farming projects which reduce greenhouse gas emissions through beef cattle herd management and other methods. We work with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal farmers and pastoralists, connecting them with organisations seeking to offset their carbon pollution, whilst investing in ACCU with environmental, social and cultural core benefits.
There are two types of carbon credits, Community Credits and Farmer Credits. Selling Farmer Credits in the voluntary market for a premium price rewards good stewardship of the land, keeps farmers on country and supports rural communities.
